After spending Christmas with Becca’s family, we headed up to Jackson, WY to visit our friend Aaron and ring in the New Year. It was a great way to end the year and 2014 should be even better!
We ventured up to the northern zone of GTNP to attempt Peak 10,686′. The NWS was calling for a bluebird day, but that wasn’t the case. That along with absurd lake crossing forced us to turn around sooner, but we were able to get some skiing in.
Crossing back across Jackson Lake, with Mt. Moran in the background
Imagine crossing this, de-icing your gear, and hitting another slush pocket five minutes later. We did this 10x, it was a long day.
Great shots! Canon T2i?
